Rex originally came from a standard farming family living on THE FORGOTTEN REALMS ISLE OF MORAY IN THE MOONSHAYS, and in particular he came from sector A19, a Barony south of Moray’s capital. He began adventuring when he was 8 years old, and was found by a magic user named Jordan, as a replacement for “two other little kids who died adventuring with him previously”.
Throughout the years of adventuring Rex sought after conquest. He, in discovering a portal to NORLAND ISLAND decided to set up a colony on the west side of the mountains. Through years of work (both in and out of game), planning, and allying with many of the humanoids and monsters living in the region, Rex was able to create a kingdom, that he named Normount. Rex was often seen as strange for taking such a strange approach in dealing with monsters; he often allied with them, spared them, and gave them items he had gotten while adventuring. However, with monsters and commonfolk allied together a great peace befell the valley and it offered a non-discriminatory outlook on all life. Of course, monsters were to behave under Rex’s rule, and so they did. Normount was eventually expanded once the Vikings of ROGARSHEIM across the mountains came to do battle. Normount with the aid of Thunderstruck was able to overthrow the forces of ROGARSHEIM, and the king of the Vikings was made to become a subject of Normount’s rule.
As the years continued, Rex began to see that his conquest had a major flaw. Greed. Rex began to change his outlook on how he treated others during his second path to immortality. In doing so he became Lawful good and took on the role of a caring peaceful man, or at least a much less violent man who sought peace. Although Rex still does do battle, he now finds his way into a new level of adventure, one in which fighting may not be required. One in which he can unite all peoples.
